Is there an explanation somewhere of when resizing a column re-sizes the current column only and when it re-sizes all "like" columns? I can't seem to figure out the pattern so I spend a lot of time fiddling with my column headers to get things right. Most importantly, I'd like to know how to resize all "like" columns without having to select all their headers.

I am not sure if there is a topic in the documentation about the resize. Here are some notes:

1. If a header is dropped as a header template (multiple-copies) all its copies are always resized to the same size. To avoid this you have to break the header template by selecting the header and executing the Break command. But in this way you will lose the header template functionality.

2. If you select mutiple low level header and resize one of them all the rest are resized to the same size.

3. If you select mutiple low level header and resize one of them while holding the Ctrl key pressed all of the selected headers will be resized proportionally to their original size.

4. When you execite Reset All Sizes all headers are set to their optimal minimum size with the following notes: All headers showing the same data type (boolean, date time, curency etc) are resized to the same size which is the minimum size of the largest one. Again all clones of the same header (when using header template) are resized to the same size.

I am not sure what you mean by 'like headers'. If you mean header template clones - they are always resized to the same size. If you mean headers that show similar data - you have to select them all and either execute the Reset Column Sizes for optimal resize or resize one of them manually and the rest will be resized to the same size.
